These pieces rely heavily on collage and layered imagery to evoke a sense of nostalgia and an ephemeral notion of time.  The palette was kept somber and moody to support the idea that time and place are just out of grasp.   The almost ghost-like imagery that moves in and out of the picture plane is a call to my ancestors questioning what forces may have shaped the generations that came before me.
